The reason to impeach a president even after he
left office is that future presidents cannot commit crimes in their last
year in office such as the insurrection of the 6th of January get away with it because
time is short, and he can't be impeached. Also he can't run again for public
office and in spite of Q Anon conspiracy theories the election was fair and
honest Biden is president
Now trump should have been impeached in his first term of office if the Democrats were not so chickenshit. He used his office to funnel money into his businesses he is guilty of tax fraud, insurance fraud and money laundering and many other things including election fraud in 2016
